Ashley and Ian welcomed this sweet little girl into their family surrounded with (in my opinion) some of the best support and love Utah has to offer; they chose Katie of Freya Birth as their doula, and gratefully welcomed Danielle of Wild Oak Birth as their birth videographer. I got to come to their beautiful…

This sweet little boy made Easter morning his birthday this year! Our in-home newborn session at his home in Roy took place a couple weeks later, on a beautifully sun-soaked spring morning (though the forecast predicted rain!). Little boy Allen is now the youngest of 4, and OH, is he so loved!
I wrapped up 2020 with a lot of mixed feelings; gratitude, mourning, disbelief, joy, worry, hope, determination, doubt, it all mixed together with my fresh postpartum hormones and was kept in perspective with some sweet newborn snuggles. 2020 was TOUGH on my little business, friends, tough. These were some common questions friends would ask me, and my thoughts at the time. Though some part of me feels like deleting the whole thing, I think it’s worth preserving, remembering how much…
I have been SO lucky to watch Elizabeth and Jared become parents – from helping them announce their pregnancy to being there for them as they labored to bring their little boy into the world, and finally, to be here together with them, comfortable at home and looking so TOGETHER during this GORGEOUS in-home newborn session.
From our very first video chat, I knew two things: #1. Robin, Jason & I were going to be great friends, and #2. Their little baby girl was going to be VERY loved.
