Meet your Maternity Photographer
Hello, friend! I’m Kaitlyn, a people-loving nerd of a soul, Christ-follower, and mama to 4.
I’ve been documenting tender transitions (birth, pregnancy, and postpartum aka you and your newborn) since 2018, and since certified as both a birth photographer and doula, trained in supporting pregnancy and infant loss. I’m proud to now offer full videography and artwork planning and design services to every KMP family, and to continually donate bereavement photography to loss families as often as requested.
Colorado families come to me to honor their most vulnerable and transformative seasons. Embracing the emotions (alll the “feels”) is important here, and I strive to make this space emotionally safe for every family I serve (and those I don’t).

The Process

Reserve your Session Date
and Prepare for your session
Maternity sessions are typically scheduled between 32-36 weeks, and reserved with your session fee and signed contract.
As your maternity session approaches, I’ll be here for your questions, thoughts, and concerns. Every maternity client receives:
- Thoughtful session planning: so your images and film (video) are more than just beautiful, they’re meaningful
- Access to the Client Wardrobe: flexible, flattering clothing that fits your changing pregnant body and coordinating clothing for your whole family
- Luxurious and emotionally-safe support every step of the way

Your job is to simply be profoundly present and deeply experience the tender moments, anticipation, and connection throughout our time together. I’ve got the rest, promise.

Your In-Home Reveal
To celebrate your family and custom-design your tangible art.
Reveal sessions take place in the comforts of your home, approximately 2-6 weeks after your session. This is when you’ll view your polished gallery of images and your maternity film for the first time, and then custom-design your tangible art pieces.
Most packages include tangible art alongside your digital files and films; from linen albums to framed wall art, linen keepsake boxes and motion books, each are thoughtfully planned and custom-designed for you and your home.

Full Maternity Sessions Generally Include:
- Access to the Client Wardrobe, with pregnancy-friendly dresses and clothing for the whole family
- Thoughtful pre-session planning
- a 1-3 hour maternity session at the location of your choice (outdoors, in-home, or at the studio)
- a post-session reveal and art design session
- A set of 20 images OR the full maternity gallery (includes a linen keepsake box with your images tucked inside).
- A petite (30-60 second) or full-length (3-6 minute) maternity film, thoughtfully put to music
- Lite or Luxe Linen Albums, custom-designed with your favorite images, preferred linens, and cover debossing
- Framed Wall Art, meticulously planned and designed for your walls, and crafted by our best American artisans.
Every session is documented with both photo and video, with space for both traditional and intimate maternity portraits. Family is welcome.

Join the KMP Membership
The KMP Membership is for families wanting more than just a maternity session. The Membership includes:
- 2 full sessions and 2 petite sessions to use over 18 months; typically used to document your pregnancy (a maternity session), immediate postpartum (newborn session), and important milestones (often sitting and baby’s first birthday)
- Scheduling priority
- Bonus images with each petite session
- Complimentary album upgrades and tangible art discounts
- Lifetime discount on future sessions, birth services, and memberships
