Baby Boy Moore’s In-Home Newborn Session
I have been SO lucky to watch Elizabeth and Jared become parents – from helping them announce their pregnancy to being there for them as they labored to bring their little boy into the world, and finally, to be here together with them, comfortable at home and looking so TOGETHER during this GORGEOUS in-home newborn session.
Ok. Details now. Elizabeth wore her gorgeous and SO postpartum friendly Dwell & Slumber (it’s their copper cocoon, for everyone wondering). Their color scheme was on pointe and coordinated SO well with their home and little baby boy’s nursery. And his nursery, guys!! (Elizabeth has a serious gift for making their home feel SO… homey 🙂 There was the most adorable little (handmade) fox mobile above his crib, and that green accent wall?? Yeah, Elizabeth designed that herself, and Jared was the muscle behind making her dream a reality. (Talk about couple goals!) And Jared and his little boy had the cutest matching outfits!
Seriously, everything was a dream – from the heavenly light floating through their huge bedroom windows to the sweet, SWEET smiles on their faces, to the blonde fuzz on that lil boy’s head. You made one CUTE babe, my friends!!
OHH guys, it just makes my heart so full when I get to tell a babe’s whole story; parenthood and new life, after all, isn’t just the joyful and beautiful warmth of a newborn session (though it is joyful and beautiful), or just the dedicated and exhausting efforts of birth (though it is exhausting, and requires a whollle lotta effort). It is everything – the patience it took to wait for that positive pregnancy test. The relief when you hear that heartbeat for the first time. The nausea and discomforts of pregnancy. The way a mama’s body swells and adapts to support the new life inside of her. The careful preparations – nursery, home, birth classes, research, tears, deciding on a name. The waiting for birth to come. That first, sweet meeting. Bringing them home for the first time and learning to care for them and their unique needs. It’s all beautiful. All precious. And it all deserves to be remembered, documented, treasured.
